Children love to learn another language; especially when the curriculum is engaging, exciting and peaks their interest!
We love using educational games while learning Spanish. Children are learning math, new vocabulary, and working independently which is great for improving their self help skills, small motor skills and Gaining confidence in their abilities to try new things.

Spanish Academy LMBD believes that children learn best when they are interested in what they are learning. This is the reasoning behind why we have created a full immersion curriculum based on thematic units. These thematic units will focus on different topics that will keep children engaged and motivated throughout their lessons. Thematic units will also enable your children to communicate in Spanish through various situations and/or environments such as in airports, restaurants, etc.
We have created a comprehensive curriculum that allows students to learn Spanish and feel confident while learning. Our curriculum consists of three different categories: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. Each category is broken down into Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3. Each level will give our students the opportunity to learn and master new skills that align with the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the World Readiness Standards for learning languages.
In each class, students will experience a full immersion program through a variety of activities that always keep them engaged. Such activities include music, sensory motor activities, active participation with peers, reading, drawing, writing and more.
World readiness standards for Foreign language Learning
Because every child’s learning abilities are unique and the process of learning a new language is quite personal, LMBD incorporates ‘The Gardner’s Approach’ (multiple intelligences) into our curriculum. We implement a variety of strategies that ensures each student learning ability is targeted or reached in the classroom. With each lesson, students will have the opportunity to learn Spanish by listening to music, movements, writing, reading and being exposed to sensory motor activities while interacting with their peers.
In addition, our curriculum provides a balance of guided instruction and student-centered instruction. Children will learn from the teacher and will learn by working independently and/or working in groups or in partnership(s) with others.
empathy, transparency, professionalism.
Our Mission is to educate and nurture children by creating knowledge and a solid understanding of Spanish as a second language while enjoying the learning process and preparing them for success in their childhood and lives beyond.
